Art Classes from Course of Studies Research
These lists were the culmination of a graduate project to survey high school arts course of studies offered in districts throughout eastern Mass. Comparisons were made to school size, arts staffing, and other factors to reveal options to expand the course offerings at Dedham HS in the 2015-16 school year. These courses all exist somewhere and represent electives courses covering fine and performing arts possibilities you may not have considered. They represent quarterly, semester, and full year courses. The skill sets and interests of your staff will ultimately steer you towards what may work for you, but these lists may offer good starting points to explore.
